ABOUT THE  PROGRAM

BBA at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi (GGSIPU).

BBA is offered at more than 35 colleges in two shifts : morning and evening with 3 specializations.

1. BBA GENERAL – BBA 3/4 YEARS
2. BBA BANKING AND INSURANCE – BBA (B&I) 3/4 YEARS
3. BBA COMPUTER AIDED MANAGEMENT – BBA (CAM) 3/4 YEARS
4. BBA/MBA INTEGRATED 5 YEARS

It is offered in the following formats from 2024-25 batch onwards.

• 3-year degree
• 4-year Hons (honours)
• 4-year Hons with Research

So in Credits, there are 2 key components: TOTAL & MINIMUM.

• TOTAL is the maximum number of credits available during your course.
• MINIMUM is the required number of credits you must earn to pass after dropping out of some courses or failing in some and completing the courses.

If you earn the minimum credits, you can get your degree. However, failing to meet this threshold means you won’t qualify for the degree.

1. BBA Degree in Major Specialization –                                                                                                                                                                                       3Years – Single Major with Single Minor. Credits – Total – 135, Minimum Required – 127. 

2. BBA Degree in Double Major Specialization –                                                                                                                                                                              3 Years – Double Major. Credits – Total – 143, Minimum Required – 135.

3. BBA HONOURS –

   4 Years – Credits – Total – 175 (Single Major),183 (Double Major), Minimum Required – 167 (Single Major), 175 (Double Major)

4. BBA (HONOURS WITH RESEARCH) – 4 Years – Credits – Total – 175 (Single Major),

   183 (Double Major), Minimum Required – 167 (Single Major), 175 (Double Major).

The student who will opt for a double major degree needs to complete 2 additional courses, 1 in 5th and 6th semesters.

There are different entry and exit options as follows :

• 1st year – completed you will earn a Certificate
• 2nd year – completed you will earn a Diploma
• 3rd year – completed you will earn a (Single Major)
• 4th year – completed you will earn a Hons.
• 5th year – completed you will earn a Hons with Research
